Tony has enjoyed a 25-year portfolio career as investment banker, industrialist and commentator. In this time, he has held directorships at a number of leading, international investment banks including UBS, Morgan Stanley and ING Barings - and at Tarmac plc.
In 2002 he founded Building
Value Ltd, which is an independent advisory business specialising
in building, property and support services. It works on planning,
strategy, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions plus investor
relations and communications. In addition, Tony is a Non Executive
Director of Prosperity Minerals Holdings Ltd, a PRC-based cement
manufacturing and iron ore trading group listed on AIM in London
and Ridgeons Group Ltd, one of the UK’s largest independent builders
merchants. He is also a special advisor to Experian Group plc,
which specialises in business credit and strategy.
Born in New Zealand, Tony has educated at Otago Boys High School and has a BA (Hons 2:1) in Economics & Philosophy from the University of Otago and an MSc in Economic Development from the University of Manchester. Now 53, he lives in London and Sweden. |
